RED BEET ROOT WELLNESS LATTE

Beets aren’t one of my favorite foods, but this is one of my favorite ways to get a small dose in. This latte combo packs in several benefits — Beet root powder helps lower blood pressure, improve circulation, and enhance athletic performance. Mesquite is mineral rich, contains prebiotic fiber, and helps stabilize blood sugar levels. Maca supports hormonal balance, boosts energy, and enhances mood & sexual health. Lucuma, packed with antioxidants, promotes healthy skin, aids in digestion, and helps reduce inflammation. Finally, lion’s mane mushroom improves cognitive function, supports nerve health, and boosts the immune system.

INGREDIENTS

1 cup almond milk (or any milk of your choice)

1 teaspoon beet root powder

1/2 teaspoon mesquite powder

1/4 teaspoon maca powder

1/4 teaspoon lucuma powder

1/4 teaspoon lion’s mane mushroom powder

1 teaspoon maple syrup (adjust to taste)

*I source my Mesquite, Maca, and Lucuma all from Terrasoul.

INSTRUCTIONS

Heat the almond milk until warm, then add in the rest of the ingredients.

Using a blender or frother, blend until smooth and frothy, ensuring all the ingredients are fully dissolved and incorporated. I use this handheld frother.

Pour into your favorite latte mug, garnish with dried rose petals and enjoy!

For a little something extra, I use these latte art stencils and dust mine with beet root powder.
